Who is grammargramps?
hey there!
I’m the GrammarGramps! My real name is Mohammad Abu Bakar and I am a professional writer. I love reading and writing about grammar, and that’s why I’ve made this website. I want to help you learn grammar concepts with ease, so that you can improve your written and spoken English.
If you need any help (literally any help), you can always get in touch with me. Whether you need to understand a certain grammar concept or you need help building a website of your own in a manner similar to mine, you can simply send me an email.
About our Writing and Checking Process
When I write for my website, I make sure that I do my due research and provide accurate information on all the topics. I use sources like Oxford’s Learner Dictionaries and Cambridge Dictionary, as well as other authoritative educational platforms, to make sure my information is correct.
Sometimes, as I have a full-time job and a kid, I delegate some boring parts of the writing process to an AI tool while I keep an eye on it. For example, to do stuff like list examples in bullets or sort data into a table, etc. You might notice some of the tell-tale signs here and there. However, even when I use a tool like that, I make sure to check all the information. I don’t let it “take over.”
I always make sure that I at least write the initial parts of the guides and posts myself so that I can properly explain everything. I’m not cool with the fact that there is some “clanker” content here on my site and I intend to slowly replace it with my own words not so far in the future.
When I work for other folk, using AI is a big no-no unless they resolutely demand that I do so. You can probably understand my reservations in doing it for my own site.
But, given that I had to work very hard to design everything on this site, make all of the images, format all of the various pages, etc., I hope my readers can forgive the cringy AI clichés that they may find at times in the content.
Thanks a lot for reading!
